Our Virtual Visit Types (In-Person coming soon!)
We offer a range of virtual visits to support your child’s developmental journey, from diagnosis to ongoing care. Here's what to expect:
Therapy
Evidence-based therapy for children, teens, young adults, and the families who love them.
Therapy at Arrow Pathways is led by Dr. Ciappa, PsyD — a licensed psychologist who works with the full age range, from young children through adulthood, and the families navigating life alongside them.
We use evidence-based approaches — primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and parent coaching — tailored to fit the person sitting in front of us. What that looks like is different for a 7-year-old struggling with separation anxiety than it does for a 24-year-old learning to manage their ADHD at work. We meet you where you are.
Common reasons families reach out:
Anxiety — including school refusal, social anxiety, perfectionism, and worry that’s interfering with daily life
Emotional regulation and big feelings that feel hard to manage
Executive functioning challenges — homework battles, time management, getting started, staying organized
Social skills, friendship struggles, and navigating relationships
Living with ASD, ADHD, or learning differences — whether newly diagnosed or working through challenges that come up at any age or stage
Identity and self-understanding — especially for teens and young adults processing late-diagnosed neurodivergence
Family dynamics and parent-child communication
Building confidence, resilience, and self-advocacy
Our approach is collaborative. For younger children, that means working closely with parents — coaching you on practical strategies you can use at home, because the work doesn’t end when the session does. For teens and young adults, that often shifts toward more individual work, with parents brought in when it helps move things forward. We adjust as your child grows.

Diagnostic Evaluations (New Patients)
For families seeking answers, this visit is designed for children who may have autism, ADHD, or other developmental concerns. Our expert team conducts a comprehensive virtual assessment to help reach an accurate diagnosis and develop personalized recommendations and resources to help your child thrive.
New to Developmental Pediatrics (Already Diagnosed)
If your child already has a diagnosis and you're looking to establish care with a developmental pediatrician, this visit is for you. We’ll review your child’s history, discuss current needs, and begin building a care plan together.
Developmental Pediatrics Follow-Up Visits
These visits are for ongoing support, including:
Developmental progress check-ins
Care coordination with schools, therapists, or other providers
Medication management and monitoring
Counseling or behavior therapy
Whether you're continuing care or adjusting the plan, follow-ups help us stay connected and responsive to your child's evolving needs.
Embracing Neurodiversity
Autism is a natural variation of the human experience, and individuals with autism or autistic individuals have unique perspectives and talents. Embracing neurodiversity means recognizing and valuing these differences. With understanding, acceptance, and support, individuals with autism can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.
